House of Seven
One more Japan became the epicentre of barbering. House of Seven: the event that combined various disciplines to create an unforgettable party. Music, fashion, art, hot rods... And barbering.
For a few days of entertainment, Yokohama brought together the best of the best in barbering, featuring both professionals and brands in the sector. A steady stream of shows put the talent of the barbers to the fore, among whom Francisco 'Chan' Martínez, Spanish ambassador of the Brosh brand, was a highlight.
Our brand was visible throughout the event, both at the stand where everyone was able to approach and admire the quality of the products, as well as through barbers like Chan and the renowned Masahiro 'Masa' Kawakami who gave a real masterclass on the stage.
It's clear from this edition of House of Seven that Japan has gone all-in for barbering. The organisation of the event lived up to the reputation of the many stars that attended. Real masters such as Julius Caesar, Fabio Marqués, Mike Chau and Queen Rockability were jury members for the headline event, a barbering competition in which the Japanese native Saito Kon came away with the victory. Both Japanese artists and competitors from all corners of the globe provided even more glamour to a party that shone in every way.
Because it wasn't just barbering that was the focus in Yokohama. The country's biggest rising transmetal groups were present, delighting all the attendees who browsed among countless food, drink and fashion stalls. The event as a whole was a reflection of what Japan is: a country that fuses its own culture with western contributions, that contrasts modernity with tradition and that loves barbering and all the effort it entails.
